How is my data used?
- The details entered into these forms are used to process your credit/debit card payment (this is handled by Trust Payments), to deliver your order to you (This is usually handled by DPD or Royal Mail), and to generate invoices.
- You will receive despatch/delivery emails and/or text messages.
- The optional “How did you hear about us?” provides us with an insight into how you first heard about us.
How long is my data kept?
- We do not keep your card details.
Trust Payments maintain your card details in line with the strict PCI DSS framework.
- We keep all other data entered for 3 years.
- After this period we keep an offline version of your invoice for a further 3 years for accounting purposes.
Registering an Account
What data is collected?
- Email Address
- Name of Thermostat
- Thermostat History (Usage Graphs)
- Detailed Thermostat History (Everything that has happened on your Thermostat)
How is my data used?
- Your email address is used as a login for your account.
- You may get emails and notifications, you can configure this under the notifications options.
- Thermostat History is used to create usage graphs
- Detailed thermostat history is used when dealing with support issues
How long is my data kept?
- Detailed thermostat history is kept for 7 days.
- Accounts are deleted after 3 years of inactivity.
- All other data is kept for a minimum of 3 years e.g. Graph Data.
However, this is not guaranteed and could be lost due to circumstances outside of our control e.g. server outages, data corruption, hacks etc. If this data is important to you, we would recommend that you download your data at regular intervals.
Do you share my data with any other 3rd Parties
Thermostat Usage
If the property where your Inspire system is installed is rented or leased to, third parties (e.g. Tenants / Guests), then you are responsible for complying with all applicable laws. These laws may require you to provide notice to your Tenants / Guests that that there are remote motion sensors present. In using the Inspire device and viewing data provided to you (e.g. on the Graphs in your Inspire account) you agree to follow any laws that are applicable to you.
Non-personal identification information
We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.
