What data is collected?

  • Email Address
  • Name of Thermostat
  • Location of Thermostat, phones (When used with Geofencing)
  • Thermostat History (Usage Graphs)
  • Detailed Thermostat History (Everything that has happened on your Thermostat)

How is my data used?

  • Your email address is used as a login for your account.
  • You may get emails and notifications, you can configure this under the notifications options.
  • Thermostat History is used to create usage graphs
  • Detailed thermostat history is used when dealing with support issues
  • Geofencing
    • If you enable Geofencing the system needs to be aware of your approximate home location.
    • It also needs to be aware of your phones’ location in relation to your home location e.g. 1 mile from home.

How long is my data kept?

  • Detailed thermostat history is kept for 7 days.
  • Accounts are deleted after 3 years of inactivity.
  • All other data is kept indefinitely
