Gas / Oil Boiler

Please install as detailed in the Installation manual.

Electric Boiler

If this accepts external controls (please consult boiler manual), then please install as detailed in the Installation manual.
If it does not, then you will not be able to use the Inspire System.

Electric Underfloor

This is typically not compatible with Inspire Systems.

Electric Radiators

If this is a new install, then this cannot be used with Inspire as there are currently no compatible radiators.

If this is to be added to existing Electric Radiators, and they maintain there current state when switched off and on again (e.g. Switch the Electric Radiator on so it is producing heat. Switch off the power to the radiator, then restore the power. If the radiator is still producing heat, then proceed).

You can use the Inspire Thermostat to control this system by intercepting the heating circuit, and switching this entire circuit on or off.

You would need to wire our system using contactors (e.g. https://www.screwfix.com/p/british-general-20a-dp-contactor/6654p). This would put the electrical load through these, rather than the relay within our system. Your electrician would be able to source and install this. Make sure the contactor is sized correctly for the electrical load.
